I love my PXG 19 degree but you have a far better handicap than me
3h
Really depends what you like hitting. I hit my 2i way way better than my 5w. Other people are the complete opposite. 10 handicap
Anecdotally, a couple of my scratch / + handicap friends use a driving iron as well rather than a 5w/hybrid. Could be a good alternative depending on your ballstriking + swing speed
I have a Titleist TSR2 4 hybrid that is about as forgiving of a club that I have ever swung. I believe it’s a 21 degree. 13 HC
Yes 1 degree in both directions.
Apex UW is a great option
I play 4w/7w and my 21° 7 wood was a game changer for me. Fairway finder off the tee, reaches the green in 2 on short par 5s (more than once from a fairway bunker), chip shots from firmer lies where a wedge or iron would bounce and blade the ball clear across the green, low punch shots from the trees. Probably the most used club in my bag next to my putter. Gets about 10-15yds more than my 4i so gapping isn't a concern but it's so much easier to hit that the 4i really only comes out to step in for the 7w on windier days when I need the lower trajectory.
Picked up a 19° TaylorMade stealth last season, love it as a fairway finder for about 235-240 yds
