Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Hi fishes I’m currently working with webdriver io with Javascript since past 4 months alone with manual testing, currently I have one year of complete manual testing and 4 months of automation + manual testing, I want to crack outside interviews and need suggestions on how to prepare for interviews and suggest me if I need to continue with webdriver io or try to switch into selenium Java

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
