Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

Here is a better and pettier way of responding: telling them you picked PwC because of the long wait time and unresponsiveness and then cc’ing all the people you’ve interviewed with. Just remember to be professional and concise in the email lol
BCC if they’re a true savage
You should've responded stating that during the long period of no contact, you've applied for, interviewed for and accepted another offer.
I was out of the country and couldn’t be bothered, considering the recruiter couldn’t be bothered to give me a heads up that she’d be on vacation or pass the job to another recruiter
Sounds like they dodged a bullet with you.
I would have responded and given that feedback. I did the same and the recruiter appreciated it. I did receive an offer, but I basically said the process took too long and I had accepted another offer.
What did the recruiter say to you? Did they admit they messed up?
Out of the blue, I get email from recruiter apologizing for the delayed response, she was on vacation. She wants to set up time for a call. I don’t respond - screw em for taking so long. I never hear from them again.
But I wonder, were they going to give me an offer? I did well in the last round of interviews, so I can’t see how I made it past the two main leaders only to fail the senior interview (was for SM position). And they took their sweet time at each round. But if they were going to offer, no way they only send one email and don’t bother following up, right? #rsm
I think you took the better offer based on prestige. If you really wanted to work at RSM you might have reached out to them.
