6 months ago I’m interviewing for M&A tax positions at several firms, including RSM. I interview with national M&A tax leader. Do well enough for next interview with regional M&A leader. Do well enough for three more interviews (partner, SM, senior). This whole process is taking about 5 weeks as recruiter mentions troubles with schedules. Then, 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing. I couldn’t care less as I’ve already accepted PwC offer (took PwC just 10 days from initial interview to offer).
