Yes, Bay Area Tax S1 usually makes 75
As long as you can buy Zima, it’s a good salary
Bay Area tax S1 making 75 seems pretty rough
Low if you are jumping but ok as a regular raise
Yes it is good.
Yes you should. I don’t know what’s your current salary is like but i know at big four Seattle the salary is low to mid 70s. Since you are moving the company, you can get more. But of course other things need to be taken into account - benefits, vacation, etc.
I would negotiate, what’s the worst that can happen? I don’t think people rescind job offers for negotiation. I’m not from Seattle but know a lot of people from there so kind of familiar with the market.
Yea, I'll try and negotiate this coming week. Thanks!
Trying to see if this is a good starting base. Hopefully someone from Seattle can chime in. Thanks for all the responses
STA1, yea I'm jumping actually. Should I negotiate?
STA1, im relocating from a state where it is slightly higher cost of living. Also, getting promoted early like 3 months ahead. I think 75 matches my current promotion if I stay with them. Don't have that much experience in negotiating. Do you think if I negotiate they're gonna rescind my offer? I don't have other offers other than transferring within my firm.
Also, are you from Seattle?
