part of me says tough it out, and the other half says mental health takes precedence.
fed core tax
Spend some time at work looking for a job
Tough it out for title and presumable promotion bonus. It is terrible though so I do hear ya
Tough it out through the bonus, try to take some of your PTO to make it tolerable, even if it’s just a half day on Friday. Use this time to see the light at the end of the tunnel and look for something else.
I second what @deloitte 1 said
Tough it out. Metal health can always wait til you’re manager.
Tough it out to get your bonus and promotion. Try to find a little time each day for yourself, even if it's just 10 mins.
Tell your managers what’s going on with you. Don’t say you’re thinking of quitting, just say you’re burning out and can’t keep this up much longer. They will understand. Maybe they can shuffle some things around. I feel you though. Maybe not, but it’s worth asking. I’m right there with you and 10/15 is not close.
Hang in there and tough it out. Don’t take anything to heart the next few months and focus on you!
Take time to look for jobs/interview while still employed, you'll find the process takes a while if you're looking for a good fit. Give 90% versus the 150% you're giving now until then 😉
Just start caring less. Promo in the bag? Give 80% instead of 100%. Smooth sailing should keep your mental wellbeing high
Start interviewing now. You’ll feel better about leaving if you have something else lined up.
Tough. It. Out. Or interview and get the title. But don’t quit with no job, 2 months our from promo.
Def wait till the promotion
You made it so far, you can do it! 💪🏻💪🏻
Yup just don’t care as much no one will remember
Talk to your doctor about the toll it is taking and maybe they will sign off on short term disability for it? Give you a break!
thanks for the words of encouragement!
Quitting two months before a promotion would be silly. Stick it out and then evaluate. Flexibility should get better as a manager and promotion bonuses are typically better
