7th year and so burned out. I think it’s time to leave the 2200-hour life, but I stayed too long and it’s impossible to imagine liking *any* job. Anybody who’s been here—how did you deal with burnout in the short term and how did you pick an exit path when the idea of work—any work—feels overwhelming?

I am starting a new role with a new company and will have 6 direct reports. Although I have managed teams before in a consulting project setting, this will be the first time in industry. Any recommendations on how to sharpen my management skills (books, blogs, etc). Particularly looking at how to delegate effectively and practical examples on how to run day to day.
