I recently joined nagarro.... was on bench for almost a month as I was not getting project as per my skill set. Recently got one project as per my skillset and cleared client interview also.
But during the time, I was also looking outside for good opportunity, I have one with same package from a product based organization.
What should I do now ? If I resign , would Nagarro release me early or I will have to serve complete notice period?

Isn’t that below the poverty line in SF?
They deal with a lot more shit (pun intended) than we do, and we don’t have to risk our lives to do our jobs. Comparison shouldn’t even be a question.
Have you done it? 😂
Per my girlfriend, CA has a very strong nurse union which helped jack up their salaries. Other states don’t nearly pay as much proportionally speaking. Really though, they mostly deserve that salary. She’ll tell me all these crazy stories while eating dinner and I’ll be like yeeeah I sent a fiery email to the client today heh 😐

Lololol sad but funny
We work the same hours as a nurse but they get paid better haha
Because nurses have a union
Do you seriously want to wipe people’s asses, clean up dirty shit, be exposed to really weird or sometimes violent people (PA weird doesn’t even cut it), have to comfort people who are distressed (this can drain you mentally), be in a high risk environment (esp. with COVID), work nigh shifts sometimes in a row, spend all day standing and walking around with little break time, and also bear the stress that consequences of you messing up is someone getting hurt? I am happy with my auditor responsibilities and auditor pay.
@kpmg 1 what do you think this is? Fukushima?
Being old is a far far bigger risk factor than working on a hospital.
Apparently this year first year auditors started at $70k - I live on East Coast and earn $75k as a third year senior 😭
People choose to live there. The value any of us add to our firms (as accountants) is not tied to where we are located... Especially now. When people move there, they know what they are getting into financially, why should they be rewarded for making a poor financial decision? I understand that there are many attractive things about big cities that draw people to them, but again its a trade off for the other things you are getting by living there. It pisses me off. Alright rant over
Must be a shortage of nurses in SF then, because that’s not near starting salary in my city
yeah. Nurses are similar to accountants I’d say, in most cities. Maybe start higher and cap out lower/grow slower.
Also nurses can work a lot of hours, some overtime, and they work in shifts. I could see their salaries getting there for sure
Aren’t nurses unionized in CA? Also, CA isn’t an NLC state (look it up), so it is harder for nurses not in CA to practice in CA because they’d have to many Weber over more hurdle to do so, thus reducing the supply. Simple supply and demand.
Us accountants/CPAs don’t have that problem.
My sister is a nurse and she made basically the same amount her 2nd year in that some managers make in my area. I get that it's hard work, but I honestly would trade places with her in heart beat. Making close to $100K her 3rd year in was a real eye opener for me. Also it's not just pay, other stuff factors in. Like the amount of CPE we have to do is pretty crazy. If I"m not mistaken I think my sis said they have like 10 or 15 hours of CPE every 2 years.
