A recruiter from a known company asked me if I was interested in a marketing operations position. Sent job description and link to calendar to schedule a call. no confirmation until she confirms it. I scheduled for last Thurs. No confirm. She reaches out on LI minutes before the meeting apologizing, saying she had an emergency, pick another date on Mon. I did and responded back. It’s Monday w/no response back. Is this how it is?

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hi fellow PMs, Question for the group: has anyone here made the switch from being a creative agency PM to a digital producer or digital agency PM?
