Dumb question: how do you calculate the total comp of a tech company’s offer? I understand that you pro rate the RSUs but do you include future stock refreshers and first year cash joining bonus in the TC calculation?
My company wants to go back to the office but in a hybrid setting on our choice of how many days to go in etc. Is it ok to ask them to reimburse my metro fare since it’s gonna be an added expense that I can just save by staying remote...? Especially since my salary is already bare
I don't know about other Big 4's. But, - EY saved on earned leaves by directing no carry over - EY saved on virtual counselling sessions, virtual new promotions program and other virtual events - EY saved in electricity, water and other office consumable services - EY earned extra from Salary cuts - EY supplied zero WFH essentials - EY garnered extra profits and broke last year records So where the hell are the employee monetary profits? Feels like EY is mimicking PM cares fund. #PeanutBonus

MBB is known for fastest progression to Partner in 6-7 years and SIGNIFICANTLY better comp compared to Big 4. That said seeing some of my Big 4 friends make it to SMs in 7 years so MBB needs to amp up the meritocracy based promotions. Curious what would be the comp for a 1st year consulting partner in Big 4?

I am in industry and I have an offer from Accenture which would represent a dream career move for me, as well as a 60% increase in comp and a 20k sign on bonus. The issue is that my manager and the team I work with are just the best people and I am nervous about breaking the news to them. I have only been at this place for about a year and a half. How does I break the news to them?

Ridiculous offers from competing agencies I'm in the Data and Analytics side of the house, but I know this is affecting everyone. Other agencies poaching analysts, managers, ADs, for what are 2 level up salary promotions. This cannot be sustainable (kids with 1 yr experience, pushing 100k+) What is the future of agency salaries going to be? Are we really going to right size all our paychecks or is this a bubble that will lead to underqualified senior levels being the norm?
