You sure? A few friends in those roles make plenty of decks.

Congrats on the new role though.

like

You will still build decks at times

like

PwC1 and DD1 man y’all are crushing my hopes and dreams 😜

like

@OP well hopefully you’ll both be paid more and make less decks so there’s that :-)

like

What kind of skills did you sell to get that role? Looking to exit into Product Management and want to know what to focus on

like

EY2 - talked a ton about previous software products that I’ve worked on and how I’ve improved them through client/market feedback. Even the stuff you’ve work on that aren’t “products” in a traditional sense you’ve got to relate back to product building and improvement

like

Congrats OP. What city?

What SL / experience are you coming from? Looking to make the same jump

DD2 - Fed Tech but had worked at a software company before joining the firm. First year SC.

@Op industry will crush tour hopes and dreams

@DD1 I doubt it. Federal work is boring as hell and a mid size software company is pretty exciting

Yep forgot the Fed part. I have no clue what DD does in fed outside of one project I know of. Still in the DC area?

D - if you’re in DC, can you take me with you? 😩

@DD2 I’m in McLean!

DD1 - yeah still DC area in Virginia

OP - DC as well. Let’s chat! Owsynchronicity@yahoo.com

@DD2 you in fed?

Commercial actually out of McLean office.

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
Earlier,before the call I had Bank of america in mind ahead of CTS for its work culture ,hike %, job security and other benefits. But here in TCS also I have very good role, job security and comfort.Please suggest!!

So I recently accepted a 12 month contract-hire position at a much larger company. Pay is more than 50% of my salary, and benefits/401k is covered by the recruiting agency. I was confident in my now manager, who told me directly this will become a permanent role. However, i’m nervous about where the economy is going to be within the next year, and after getting a few linked in messages to interview for full time positions, I’m starting to second guess myself. Thoughts? Advice?

2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.

Is Operations paid the least at your respective firms? I was hired to a Client Service Delivery role with a heavy focus on project management. I regularly interface with leadership internally and at the client. But, I am aligned to the “Operations” capability and make the least of my teammates who perform seemingly identical work but are aligned to “Strategy and Consulting.” I worry I’m on a career path to being paid the least wherever I go, because Operations is in my title and background.

Hello, I am looking to make a career change that starts at a minimum 75K salary. The economy is tough right now and I can no longer afford to stay in my current role. I have a bachelors degree in Sociology with experience in managed care, utilization management, & clinical admin.. Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible higher paying career that I would be qualified for based on my background?

Anyone from FMCG, OTTs, Flipkart or Amazon here? I could use a referral. I've 8 years of experience in Telcom and Consulting primarily. Focus has been in CVM, Product Management and Retailer commissions/Trade Marketing.

Hi Guys,

I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.
They hired me for a package of 16 LPA.
So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
Will I get the same package like ReactJS or less? What is future if compared with React?
