ACN 🐠’s, what is your parental leave program? And do you have a leave of absence program for non-parental leaves?

Primary Caregiver- 8 weeks
Birthing Leave- 8 weeks

Secondary Caregiver- 2 weeks

Men can get primary caregiver leave if their wife doesn't work at Accenture (when I was at Accenture, my wife also worked there so I didn't like it)

like

Birthing mothers and adoptive parents: 8 weeks of maternal leave + 8 weeks of primary caregiver leave = 16 weeks. Fathers of newborns can take 8 weeks of primary caregiver.

We have secondary caregiver if you both work for ACN. I think that's 3 weeks (unsure)

We also have "future leave "which is 1-3 months (you have to have been an employee for 3 years) unpaid, but protected and they keep paying insurance, as long as you pay your rate

We have "LOA" up to 1 year (but I think you have to be at the company for at least 1 year), unpaid, and your job isn't protected, they stop paying into your insurance

I’ve made it 5+ years in a NY M&A practice and have consistent exceeding expectations reviews. I’ve had a few mental breakdowns because of work during this time, but thankfully made it through. I’ve been in a near constant depressive/anxious state for family reasons for the last year and half, and am soon having my first kid. I’m scared shitless that I’ll spiral out of control both at work and at home if something doesn’t change soon. Any suggestions on how to keep this job and keep it together?

I have an MBA from the University of Chicago, not that it matters much in sales. I have always been in a consulting role but I think I can make more in sales. I have a competitive personality and I am bored.

I have worked in marketing for about 6-7 years. First few years were in social media management. My goal is to work at a big tech company.

I’ve heard mixed results about the ROI of earning an MBA. My near future goal is to move into a Marketing Director (or senior manager) role.

2) Anyone currently working at the companies above with only a BBA?

Have you ever been racially discriminated against in a personal healthcare situation/not at work? While you were ill or in the hospital? I think I have work trauma not sure how it’s clouding my ability to make decisions. I’ve had unstable work after being laid off from a company 3 years ago. I thought I worked out a plan to get to a stable place but my job is proving to be unstable yet again. I secured a FT role at another company but because it’s a lot less money I’m unsure because I feel very cynical about companies in general. I assume it’ll be just like all the rest but now I’ll just be making less and could get laid off.
