Advice on how to handle a weird client? Almost a year ago a previous logo client reached out to me again with new logo requests for a couple new ventures. I met with them, agreed on price and scope. Then they ghosted me. No signature, no money. Last night they message me out of nowhere saying they tried to send me money for a NEW logo project they want me to create with no meeting, no mention of the ghosting, just wanting my zelle info. What the heck? more context in the comments.

Is it a red flag when a recruiter talks about unrealistic benefits like getting a chance to fly to another state just to visit the client HQ all expense-free? Or is it really a thing? Let me know if you have experience like this.

I just want to say to the Indian managers / SMs etc. stop taking everything so seriously and stressing people out on your teams. I have had managers who put initiative work so high in importance that it stresses me out about client work. Chill out and stop emailing on weekends. Hang out with your families! Doesn’t mean don’t work hard but chill the heck out people. Clearly this is just a job that doesn’t pay you well enough in the first place why are you stressing other people out too?!

Hello, I have accepted an offer at a competitor company and sent in my resignation letter. My start date is 5 weeks from now so I put in my end date 4 weeks from date letter was signed. The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?

I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative.
