Classic problem of HTI. Just because of this I had to finally resign. No exceptions will be allowed. You’ll have to talk to your manager or skip manager. But this also won’t work most of the times. If they listen then you’d be lucky else acceptance is bliss my friend.
HR always go by the book. It’ll be a futile effort for sure.
You can share your concerns with your line manager, he/she can align you in a better suited role under them anytime, in case it is available. Any IJP however can be applied after 18 months.
But isn’t this something basic which such a big organisation should understand? Why hire someone if they are not suited for your role?
In my case its like I have been aligned to my role but the work I get is not what my role has to do with. It's been 7-8 months now don't have any option other than going with the flow. And this is the most common problem I've noticed in HTI.
Acceptance is bliss my friend if you want to stay here else India is a democratic country 😁.
Has your functional manager also raised concerns that they don't find your tech skills suited for their role? Going by what you initially posted, it seems it's the other way round..You believe you are not suited.
It’s not your fault at all. In HTI it’s a common problem. I can totally relate to what you’re going through now. Finally now I’m relieved after resigning.
