I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

It has been 2+ weeks since I completed the Interview & Psychometric Assessment rounds with Macquarie Group , but yet to hear anything from them. I also followed up with HR but with no response. For the record, the interview went well. Any idea if they usually take this amount of time to get back? If I got rejected, why not communicate directly?
Hi everyone, Amdocs hr called me slry discussion today(pune). I quoted 12 LPA.She said that's too high, will ask my team and get back to you. What can I expect from them. Should I follow up with them or will they get back to me with their final figure?

I am on notice period and m joining TCS by nex tmonth end.now I received the CTC revision of 9.8 which was 8.9 by before ....in TCS offer is 15lpa..is it can I ask the HR more like one lakh plus as they revised me in Cognizant? Or shal I just move on ?pls guide me will TCS revise ?
Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.
Hi, I am being offered 27L + 2L Variable for Manager (M1) at KPMG India. Will I also be eligible for year end performance bonus? Or is variable pay the only amount that I’d be eligible for?
Am I being lowballed by the HR in terms of offer ? Approx 8yoe currently at 21LPA (recently promoted) KPMG KPMG India

I think it’s fine. A portfolio isn’t always the most accurate measure of someone’s creativity—they could be propped up by someone else’s work or conversely they could be tremendously talented but not have had the right opportunity.
Almost every agency I have applied to, including where I work right now, has asked for a test. While applying, it would make me sit back and think if I actually want to be there or not.
If it's a solid yes, I would do the test.
I stopped applying blindly once I realised it is almost a norm when even the worst places (I was desperate) would ask for them.
Maybe this is just in India but I wouldn't be surprised if other places do this as well; I currently work under a DDB-owned agency.
Also, I am a Jr. right now. So maybe the test thing ends in a couple of years (hopefully).

The agency is Walrus and yes, the same test has been in use for a while now.
Why would the agency’s name need to be redacted when they test is available to view publicly on their website?
Just didn’t want them or anyone to think that I was shitting on them or anything.

Lol this test is enough reason to not want to work there. What a joke.
This is not an agency looking for free ideas. It's the old crew from Mad Dogs looking to see the weird and wonderful ways a creative person thinks rather than just blindly picking graduates from VCU. Given the diversity issues in this industry I think it's a good way to find creative potential in perspective juniors as opposed to unpaid internships and expensive portfolio school degrees.

Hard pass. It’s like asking for free samples at the restaurant.
It’s not likely they’d be getting anything useful they can profit from.
But making us desperate (out-of-work or just trying to get out-of-our-current-work) creatives jump through hoops for a general resume submission to be kept on file is a bit too much.
Also: though I like New Yorker cartoons, McSweeney’s lists and The Economist’s classic campaign, I don’t consider having the exact same taste and sense of humor to be a prerequisite for creative collaboration.
Solution: If they’re seriously considering someone but on the fence, pay them a one day day rate to do this test.

I would never.. I only do it if it’s paid. And they have to pay my regular day rate. No hourly. No price reductions.

this test would never translate into real, usable work. it’s not like you’re being asked to come up with creative concepts for a live brief... from that perspective, i believe this is more than okay.
Applied thoughtfully, these are great. In my experience, a good way to open the door to Junior talent with less/non traditional backgrounds.
