Do it! My biggest key learning in this industry and every agency is put you ahead of everything else. If this client side opportunity feels right it will help you grow and if nothing else boomerang back.
Agreed
If you do it…for the love of god don’t be a dick to the agency. You have way too much information about the inner workings…try to pretend that you don’t. In my experience all clients that came from the agency side FROM their current agency are THE WORST.
You may know all the good and the awful about your current agency, but use that to your advantage- like where you can help them (client) flex or manage their expectations in new role and even find ways to streamline things as needed. Think big picture here and most importantly ensuring you protect you and what’s best long term! Keep us posted. 💪🙌
Do it!
Go for it!! I had a similar situation last year due to my role being eliminated and a comparable role opening on the client side for a different team. Unfortunately another coworker got the role but I'm glad I applied. You have nothing to lose.
Good luck! You know more than you think
