Another post about the hiring freeze. I received a verbal offer and went through the process as normal in early July. However I’ve been told my role is on hold until the prioritization exercise is complete. I’m in a time crunch since my current role is negatively affecting my mental and physical health. Could anyone share info on whether a marketing role is considered critical?

Currently a senior with 2.5 YOE(not including 7 months of internships). I want to apply to Pwc Senior Cyber Risk position, but the minimum YOE is 3. Is it worth my time applying for the role? Will I get eliminated off the bat due to YOE?

So I’ve been working at the same place for 3 years and have hit a wall a while back, overworked/ underpaid, overlooked etc . I went back to for a second Bachelors in mechanical engineering but working a full time job will see it I graduate in 10yrs so now I’m starting my MBA soon. Seems like nothing I try helps. I have accepted my sexuality and found peace with the long battle of wanting to be something not what I actually am. On one side I have a lot of pressure around me being gay and trying to get a PR and get out of India, on another side I have a lot financial issues. Googling ADHD today (I’m having a distracted day) and super frustrated because I’m realizing that I was likely misdiagnosed as depressed for years. I was taking SSRIs and dealing with awful side effects while I struggled for so long. I finally got an official diagnosis about 10 years ago but was never taught the symptoms or how to manage them.
