Hello good fishes! I had informational exchange with the hiring manager. Now going for technical interview. The role is in Privacy and have not done much of coding in last 6 years. Any suggestions what I should study to get through? This is for a Principle position.

I’ve tried introducing myself and connecting with recruiters on LinkedIn and of course, applying to jobs on their site. Would anyone happen to have any words of advice for someone trying to transition from the ad industry into the entertainment industry?

Additional Posts in Mental Health in Advertising

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

Any advice on dealing with an eating disorder in the workplace? Mine is taking over and my work is crumbling. I often can’t focus or remember anything from meetings or conversations because I havent..

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know. Has anyone else dealt with PTSD and had it impact them at work, and how did you handle it?

My mental health has suffered tremendously over the past month. I have a therapist that I probably should see more of but I’m jobless and need to save.
