Any advice on how to handle my new job? I really like the mission of my job but the actual work is way easier then my previous job. I’m not feeling challenged. I’m coming up with my own projects to help but I’m still feeling underwhelmed. I’m kind of sad because I think the work is important but my day to day work isn’t exciting even when I try to make it. I have found some other teams with work I’m interested in but it’s too soon to transfer to another team. Any advice is appreciated.

I'm 4 years qaulfied & in an accounts based role with exposure to personal tax. Starting to feel my learning is slowing down. Due to acquisitions I feel like I'm falling down the pecking order and while I love it there concerned about my long term direction.

Ultimately I want to start up on my own and currently thinking if I use the next year to gain an tax based qailfication (ACA) looking at ATT?

Alot to unpack but welcome advice, would I benefit from ATT/advice on starting up?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Has anyone regretted their decision to become a PA instead of a Physician because we end up doing mostly the same work but for less pay? I'm considering the extra education

So happy to finally be posting with my new title! I’ve been looking to get into a Product department since early 2020. In my case resilience was key in the face of constant, daily rejections. Also I’m in my 40s so don’t lose hope! It’s never too late to pivot your career.

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Do small law firms have paralegal managers?

Looking for some advice; I've been a paralegal for about 5 years now, and the past year or so has been hard. One firm closed, which dropped me in another firm which was never good for me, and then into another with a culture that was really unhealthy to me. My resume shows a few short stays at firms, and now I'm looking at moving after six months due to issues that turned over the entire paralegal team so far except for me. How do I show employers I'm a dedicated worker after a difficult year?

One key selling point, as they are trying to offer is the opportunity to work one day a week to use for things like training, acquiring certifications or building applications that you are interested in.
