When it's Wednesday afternoon... and you're waiting for that "we'll contact you early next week" email after a potentially life changing interview ...AND EVERY SPAM EMAIL MAKES YOU WANT TO DIE.

I've decided to enroll in NYU's tax LLM program part-time this fall. I'm currently at a V50 firms and I'm in the middle of lateral interviews. Would updating my application with this news hurt or help my offer prospects?

Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Gave them 4-5 days, started planning for how I’d get those days off work during insane times at current job, and now not a single word from them to confirm a date. Been over a week now. Sad. Pretty jaded. What can I do? Already followed up

You did an interview and your interviewer apologized that the travel time 180minutes was much higher than 30minutes scheduled time for the interview and that It could have been done remotely, but she has to follow the process. I am still waiting for feedback though.

I called her she said she will update me later which she didn't. I called her today where she said it will take time . Please tell me whether is it fine ?

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting? I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. One of my friend who is a doctor & is an international med graduate. He passed his United States Medical Licensing Exams with above average scores. He has applied fr the match last yr & was nt able to match. Match process costs around USD10k; this year he is applying again after borrowing funds frm different sources bt he is under tremendous pressure to get match. I feel his pain as he has studied for 10+ yrs and is struggling to match nw. I m nt sure hw I can help
