So this happened. Since getting laid off I’ve been applying to every job that I believe I’m qualified for. 30 minutes after I hit send I received an email from the company stating that I did not have the right qualifications for the job. No one from the company looked at my portfolio. How do I get past the algorithm and get my work noticed by a real person?

I was HC approved, but told that the hiring manager is still deciding on which candidate to offer the job to. How often are folks successfully matched with teams they didn’t initially interview for?
