Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

I used to work for a church, but yeah, the pay was nowhere near competitive. I think that's pretty much the nature of the beast. Eventually I had to seek employment elsewhere to support my family. Luckily I ended up at a place that, while definitely for -profit, shares many of the same values so the environment and sense of fulfillment is very similar.
The way I look at it now is that by working in the for-profit world I'm now able to financially support those non-profit organizations while also volunteering my skills.
You can definitely get paid well as an engineer working at an NGO, it just depends on which one. Will you be making FAANG money? Absolutely not? But you can still make 150 in certain cities, depending on the NGO. Is it something like the Gates Foundation or other family philanthropy? Or is it for a church? Big difference.
I don't feel like I need FAANG money to be happy. I would much prefer to be remote, and that would let me live in a lower cost-of-living area and thus a lower salary would be more feasible for me.
I've thought about the Gates Foundation, and to be honest I find that pretty intimidating. That and I think you have to live in the Seattle area. :(
I had offer from edx and it was peanuts
Can you elaborate on that, please?
