Currently at a big4 as a senior but have been offered a industry job with a ~30%raise. Currently at 140k-ish at ey but want to understand how that will change once I make manager. Fyi - I enjoy my job in my current role so don’t want to move except for the pay raise. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

Currently working as a process engineer in switzerland (south east). Salarys and Rent are Medium High. Current salary around 80k. Trying to switch to sales (same company). Had a talk with the teamleader. He talked about the job and told me that they were actually looking for a junior sales (and some product management responsibilities ). That they are looking for a junior isn't to bad, because i have no experience in sales (customer contact yes, but no sales) What salary can i expect?

How much stock do you put on benefits? I have two offers with stark differences in benefits. Job 1: role I want, but benefit sucks (2 weeks paternity leave, 20% coinsurance). Job 2: role is okay but higher level and great benefits (16 weeks paternity, 0% coinsurance, 5 more days of vacation). Total comp is the same though.
