How is the company culture like at Gartner?
Hello, I have an offer from Publicis Sapient for their product management internship program. Wondering if anyone has any insight into the program (exits, etc) and how the return offer looks like in terms of salary. I still also hold an interest in data science so might go with another offer but I’m not sure if it is a wise choice to let go of a PM offer while I have it.

Salaries for new hires make me cry
Was at FTI for a year and didn’t love it. Been at K in federal advisory for two years and don’t regret making the switch.
90k for entry level federal advisory at KPMG, damn!
Also it’s not just 20 days of PTO. We have firm shutdowns for the whole week of July 4 and between xmass and new years. So really 30.
love FTI, wouldn’t go into strat comm here. it’s our lowest paid group.
I can’t respond since I have a student account, but I just signed with KPMG! Thank you for your advice.
It would depend on what you want to achieve. Working for a big 4 can help you with your resume. Unfortunately, in these companies, for entry-level, you do tedious work. It will be up to you what your long-term goals are. If you think you want a career in strategic communications, you should go with FTI. If you have no clue what to do in the future, KPMG would be a better option.
what’s your major? i’m asking because i was offered the audit position at the same office and i’m wondering on how and if possible to switch to advisory. thank you
I was in the same boat (was interviewing for FTI strategic comms) and had the same offer from KPMG advisory. I went with KPMG. FTI is primarily a restructuring firm, and I was afraid I’d be a second class citizen within the firm.
I’ve been loving working at FTI. Love the people and environment here. We work with other segments all the time and strat comm plays a huge role overall. So I wouldn’t say one segment is important than the other, you’ll find yourself working with all other segments.
I’ve worked at Deloitte and FTI so not quite the same but take it for what it is. FTI has been a far better experience in terms of raises and bonuses over time but more importantly the team setting and culture (not that Deloitte was bad but that FTI is typically smaller team settings with more visibility, etc.). Strat com is a great group. I’m in restructuring and work with them a lot on a variety is of stuff. Nothing but good things to say about the group.
KPMG also offers two weeks of shutdowns in which you do not have to use PTO. Something to consider
