Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

not with McK-I but have asked and followed similar questions and here is what they say:
comp - same
prestige - get over it, your job is important
advancement - haven’t seen an answer on this actually
one person also mentioned that the employee backgrounds are v diverse and can result in long hours and lots of rework because expectations aren’t as clearly understood or communicated by everyone. to me this just sounds like typical implementation though.
It’s very expensive PMO.
lot of folks I’ve worked w are implementation and the rest of us who weren’t didn’t even notice. No such thing anymore at the firm as just the “strategy side,” they are on and can lead teams w those not on the implementation track
Most Mck teams are now comprised of colleagues from different parts of the org - integrative, digital, implementation, etc. As Mck1 said, one doesn’t even notice what part of the org one is from and impact creation is at the forefront.
So, keeping in mind comp, advancement opps, and “prestige”, i would recommend going for it.
