Any insights/advice on what to expect/how to prep for final round interviews with the head of HR plus one C-Level executive (separate 30 minute interviews, same day)? Did the onsite panel with 5 interviews and a presentation earlier this week.

In my experience, the final round is mostly the tiebreaker if you’re one of multiple or a box to check if you’re the last person standing. It’s basically making sure that the highest level person you’d have to deal with or that is in your general area is comfortable with your hiring (again, just in my experience interviewing at two F100 companies). The other interviews were your competence and fit interviews so I wouldn’t imagine any subject matter questions. Definitely have a few tailored questions for each of them, and you’ll likely need to give your “tell me about yourself” pitch again to the c-suite one, I’d imagine the HR one will know about you more. I’d also bet the HR one is more for your final questions about decision timing etc. but don’t consider it a pointless one. Good luck 💕

One more thing: definitely research their backgrounds/work histories and see if you have some sort of connection you can ask about or if they had a unique pivot you can ask about. This is a bad example but i’m working so being fast…Like if you both studied engineering in undergrad you can say like “i saw you also studied (), and have found it brings x, y, z benefits to my job as a laywer, how do you use that background as (blank)?” And pull out a niche thing about the company that shows clear investment of time and energy into researching (like a program they are a spokesperson for or something). Nothing like “i heard your company has great work-life balance,” but maybe talk about a mentoring program or something. Sorry this may all be obvious to you but this is my advice from having succeeded at this round twice and I felt bad no one has said anything to you!!!

did your presentation go well?

Thanks again. Hoping to lock it down this week.

What type of position makes you do a presentation as part of the interview?

I’d never seen/done it either but it was straight forward. TC for the role is really good and the role itself is attractive so I figured it was worth it - literally had Copilot make my slides based on what areas I wanted to discuss and then put together some talking points - it was about enforcement trends and developments in my industry, and I am knowledgeable on the subject.

Interviews went well I think. Sent my thank yous. Now just waiting for next steps. They’ve moved fast so far so I’m hoping to hear back next week ideally. Wish me luck.

apply to larger companies too to avoid instability

NFT’s... no interest in buying them but very interested in buying into whatever it is that makes tick. I think there’s a lot of money to be made off of such a ridiculous investment. Any ideas on what to buy to take part in the business of NFT’s, without having to pay $69 million for a drawing of a cat?

I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. How many times do we see people getting free prescriptions via government coverage that drive better cars than we do?

After you moved in-house, how did you get more comfortable reviewing contracts or counseling on issues you weren’t super familiar with?
