Bain & Company Hi there! I'm looking to connect, and hopefully receive a referral for the Bain Associate Consultant Intern program in a SEA office. Happy to connect further, perhaps jump into a short call, for you to learn more about me and determine whether I'm a good fit. Thank you and really appreciate it! Bain & Company
Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.
Has anyone used LAS Links? What can I expect?
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Have you considered prayer?
Agree about craigslist. Be ready to have your deposit and everything ready to provide the minute you’re interested. Literally. I’ve recently seen some OK one bedrooms in cole valley for $2500 - a deal in SF
A few times, yes
I’ve had good luck finding roommates on Craigslist there. Inner sunset is a nice neighborhood that’s not as far out as it seems. Close to the park and the n line and the late night bus is somewhat reliable and close to the highway if you want to get out of town to the north or south
Yeah. Have all your stuff ready to go. Gotta be able to walk in and say yeah at the same time. I lived in a shithole in cole valley for 1200. Pretty sweet deal
Try to get a 1-yr lease or less. The market is deflating (slowly, but deflating).
Put a little effort in looking in the not-prime places. The hidden gems are spreading out and lots of awesome bars and restaurants are in the outskirts hoods. Dogpatch/Potrero/Bernal/sunset/Richmond. You’ll get more for your money. But do make sure your close to public transport, or get a used scooter. That was the best decision I ever made in the city.
Craigslist, no photos. Such a gamble, but generally they’re rent-from-owner who haven’t had time to get their shit together. Have done that with a dreamy landlord who lets us fix problems and take it out of rent, who places more value in long-term tenants who want to call it a home. Good luck and feel free to PM if you need more info on the city
If you’re in contact w/a craigslister and they email you back, asking for you to respond using your PERSONAL email, it’s a scam. So many fake listings (with real-looking pics) that do this.
go.
Thanks for the help
That’s super helpful. I knew there were a ton of scams so I’ve been avoiding it, but I might give it a look.
@SD 1, thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely reach out if I have more questions.
