Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

I don’t work there but I’ve received 2 Knowledge offers over the last 2 years. It largely depends on the role, some are completely internal others are client facing etc. BCG does a great job of tailoring the cases to the position, so will likely be based on the sector. Overall good impressions, great people, but you will feel lesser than compared to core consultants (you’re not treated as such, but you’ll feel it). You can learn a lot but the comp isn’t competitive and any reputable firm knows the difference between knowledge and a core consultant
But aren’t there 2 dif tracks topic activation and client facing…I’m looking to leave consulting in general feel like this is a great gradual transition from consulting to industry assuming I can pivot into the industry practice outside of BCG as an org. Damn I wonder how the comp stacks up over a couple of years
I’ve used the resources BCG has given just looking for real time insight into what the role really is
