I got a pay increase but it’s very competitive because everyone wants to get into it so need to make sure your resume stands out.. being involved in EHR projects is a must and masters degree/certification helps
I work at a clinic and get 1/2 days a week to wfh basically to chart, meetings and make calls. I am thankful because it helps my mental health and allows me catch up and also allows me to still see patients.

This is awesome !!
I don't but I know others who have and they said they miss working on the floor. That's kind of what's keeping me from pursuing a work from home job. Plus, they said the money isn't nearly as good because there isn't the same amount of overtime in the kinds of jobs that are available to do from home.
I agree I’m lucky because I get to do both I just had a interview yesterday just to see and the last question was how do you feel about not being in direct patient care and I said I would miss it and she was like basically enough said thank you bye lol! I didn’t want to job anyway thankfully but you’re right it’s usually one or the other. I feel like why did I I go to school go through all the stress and test to sit behind a desk every day and have no patient interaction. Maybe one day but I’m not there just yet! And just so everyone knows wfh is not all roses you have to be logged on and meetings some places monitor you and you do have to work. my work doesn’t thankfully. This is not my dream job but the insensitive such as wfh and not having a boss that micromanages is so nice.

I work from home. I’ve been a case manager. UM reviewer. Right now I do clinical quality, accreditation and clinical performance. Been working from home as an RN for 11 years. Sometimes I miss the floor. But I worked PRN at an LTAC. Wore me OUT!!! I enjoy working from home. I miss people though.
