I’ve been an analyst for almost 2 years now and still feel lost at times. I’ve found I’m just more comfortable with that feeling now. You’re still new enough that no one really expects much from you. Just be open to learning and don’t be afraid to try and take on more responsibility!
That’s typical when you first start a new job, especially as an analyst. Try not to dwell on it, that’s your imposter syndrome talking. You’re good enough to do the job if you were hired, and if you were doing poorly you would know (someone would tell you)
I didn't start to feel comfortable and confident until about the 1.5 year mark. Hang in there. You're still in the learning stage, but you'll get there.

If it’s any comfort to you, I’ve been working the same amount of time as u and I’m usually pretty confident that I’m dropping the ball. Sometimes I’m wrong and I’m actually doing good, but yea you probably don’t have anything to worry about
Feel this same way
Nope, as a SA in the digital side who get staffed alongside strategy people, I’m practically writing my strat manager a script to present to the clients on what we’re actually doing 😂
On a more serious note, you’re definitely not the only one. There’s a reason firms hire people like us though, constantly second-guessing ourselves = constantly over-performing.
Most likely, you’re doing just fine, no one is confident all the time, everyone makes mistakes (even your managers!) and even if you don’t see them with those mistakes, they can and usually will empathise with what you’re feeling.
Almost 3 years same position 😂
