Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Let's be real - is this job that hard? Yeah the travel grind will wear and tear you but if you stay from staff Til you're 30-34 you can be making serious cheddar. Maybe not IB/Law/PE levels but still. Be grateful, it's lucrative if you stick it out. Or so they tell us
I wish I had the balls to switch offices. Chicago income/expense ratio is super tempting but all my friends and family are here. So hard to just up and leave. 😩
Switch offices?
Yes!
worked here for one year and was worrying about this exact issue earlier today. sometimes I question if the NYC lifestyle is really worth the cost. I'm almost convinced I would be bored in any other city.
IMO 20s are for gaining experience not money. If you think you can get the same experience elsewhere then by all means eject.
The way I see it, any dollar I make now is goi f straight to b-school, so who gives a damn if I save $600 a month vs $1,000
I was between this and law school, my best friend (one who I would academically compete with throughout college) just graduated top 5 law school and landed a job starting at $180k + bonus. Thanks for the reminder @EY1 😭😭😭
@kpmg op but when you're a partner and he or she is a partner (PC For all the Bernie bros on here) and you're making 600 base and he or she is making 750 base you'll be doing interesting work and he or she will be helping Exxon or cargill
Absolutely
If you travel move out of the city. If you're local make a budget see what you can cut to save. If you travel but like the city too much suck it up its NY
Appreciate he reality check @K1
Promo year for me with potential EY offer in the pipeline. We'll see what October brings.
Even areas surrounding NYC are absurd. You can't even get a studio in the hood of Jersey City for under $1300
Also don't live in a studio, get roommates!
More fun and cheaper.
I live with four now, exploring other options. Honestly don't want to do more than 2 at this point, getting too old.
From a fellow manhattanite 😘
Jump jobs - every other big4 does the same thing you do and will poach you. That's the only way to bump up salary fast before b/L school. Plus we all know VC is gonna suckkkkk this year.
