Hello! Graduated with a CS degree- with focus on software engineering. Currently hit one year booz. Have my TS/ SCI poly- anyone willing to give referral? And what is a reasonable salary to ask for?

I was offered a manager position at EY and a sr manager postion at CFGI. Comparable salaries. I am wondering what to go with. Any additional insight in culture between the two would be helpful!

I started a new position 4 weeks ago and had a conversation with the partner I mainly work with. He’s really pleased with my legal work product, analysis, etc. The constructive criticism was that I should focus on the “polish” of my work (e.g., occasional grammar/spelling mistake, formatting, internal consistency). All things considered I’m happy that’s where he wanted me to improve rather than legal substance. Anyhow, what are your systems/tips for proofing documents for these “polish” items?

Hey bosses! I am considering a jump from a career in brand creative to marketing. It would be a director level position as I have had a couple of executive / director level positions as a creative. I would be working at a non-prof - it would be a wonderful opportunity… and a welcomed change.

As I consider this transition, anything I should think about going into this?

Anyone at McCann/ McCann Health willing to help with a referral?

My team just hired a new L&D specialist. During the interview, we realized she was slightly more junior than we were looking for (didn't have much program creation experience), but felt she could grow into the role.

Well fast-forward 6 weeks and she's told me that, although she has extensive facilitation, she hasn't done a lot of content creation, which is in contrast to how she represented herself in the interview.

I've helped guide and review her work, but am quietly frustrated.
