My new job gives me WFH allowance for my desk and I’m looking to upgrade from my 1080p 27 inch Dell monitor.

Any recs would be appreciated!

Office may be inaugurated by 15th of August, Seating Capacity might be 250 as of now. For Audit Dept 50 seats will be there.
I want to know if WFH can be extended for few months unless proper seating capacities are confirmed.

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. Hi guys, have you ever cried in a workplace. How does it feel if no one helps you when u ask something and they don’t respond at all if u are even asking doubts to them. hey folks, does anyone have advice on how to leave a company that you just joined? I’ve been at my agency for barely two months before getting an amazing offer elsewhere. How do I leave? Should I leave before or after the holidays? My team/boss are SO nice, and I’d hate to burn a bridge.

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. Are FAANG companies really the place to be for SWE’s? I want to work for one but I’m worried about culture & work/life balance.

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Can anyone tell me whats the median salary for Functional Safety Engineer? I had an offer for 140k (it was a 6 month contract position though). I will also be getting an offer internally at my current work place (which is full time) . Since full time offers more job security. I am not expecting them to match or put in an offer close to that amount, but just wanted to get an estimate.
