Hahahahahhahaha Pen15 club!!! That’s one I haven’t heard in a long time.
Not a rollerball but easy to use, looks nice, and writes great: Lamy Safari.
I agree on the Lamys. They are distinct and you can find a very fine looking one for $20-25.
Lets see Paul Allen’s pen

For usability I’d recommend a G2 or a Sharpie Pen (they make pens too, not just markers).
If you’re in a major metropolitan area, see if there’s a Muji store which has a crazy collection of pens/inks.
If you want something “fancy” that people will recognize, pony up for a Montblanc. But tbh, no one looks at the pen you’re using.
Seconding sharpie pens. My favorite.
You need to talk to Michelle Strowhiro. @strowhiro on Twitter. Penfluencer.
Zebra steel. With quick dry ink or you mess up your scanners
Serious question to everyone replying, you guys handwrite enough, that an average, $2 pen does not suffice? I can’t fathom spending more than a few dollars on a pen lol
A1, do you mean Montblanc or Pilot Sailors? Hehe
I haven't owned a pen in years. I don't know if I even remember how to write with one any more.
Parker or Cross pens are refillable, classy looking, and inexpensive. Like, $20 at Staples. I just use disposable gel pens, occasionally a Montblanc that was gifted to me. I used to have a Tiffany pen that I never used because the silver got so scratched up from use.
