RKT, any thoughts?

My mood has been fluctuating so much lately. Some days (yesterday) I wake up feeling invincible and some days (today) want to hide myself the rest of the world and feel like nothing will ever get better. I’m trying to push myself to make plans with other ppl and am really self-conscious about it cuz I don’t want ppl to see me in low spirit.. any ideas on how to fix that?

Does anyone here work for any public accounting firms in the Charlotte area with a decent work life balance? I am looking to go somewhere where I can focus on a few clients for longer periods of time rather than constantly bouncing around. I find it much less stressful to put in longer hours if it's a client that I have been scheduled on long term.

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. Publicis Sapient: 16 CTC ( 14.5 LPA FIXED )
Neudesic (IBM) 16 CTC ( 14.5 FIXED + WFH Remote Complete )
PubMatic: 22.70 CTC + 2 lakhs Joining Bonus ( 16 fixed LPA + Other benifits, stocks, etc )

It will be very helpful if you can suggest with some reason.
