Hi 🐠- I have a data analytic background, and am joining a consulting firm’s fraud group. I don’t know much about accounting - any books/good sources to brush up on to get some general knowledge?
Notice there are so many people with debate experience in consulting. Kinda impressed. Any highly recommended books related to debate or communication in general?

Question from a newbie consultant - What are some good online courses/ books to improve consulting skills?
Is anyone running a small nonprofit on the side in addition to consulting? I am planning to start one to carry out some of my passion work. (Any books, courses, places to start?)
What consulting books are good to read? Topics. How to climb the corporate ladder as fast as possible. Any other good consultant information.
Any recommendations on books/podcasts (and other sources) about CM? Not just to expand technical skills but also soft skills and external consulting?
About to start my first PM job after consulting. Any tips to get myself prepared and ramp up quickly? Books to read, courses to take, etc.? Currently doing ops consulting, no tech background.
Hi, I am going through a few books on consulting and one thing which seems to be given a lot of importance is market sizing. What is the importance of this? It seems to me that unless it is a new product; existing competitors, long term contracts, monopolies etc would make this result unreliable at best and misleading. Can someone help me understand this?
What skills to study / learn that are relevant to M&A or Strategy consulting? Have been studying a lot of valuation, econ, strat, finance, M&A. Books / courses / topics you recommend?
Top 3 strategy consulting books?
I got reached out to about a VC role, but I had never considered VC before. I do Product Management Consulting, but I do have both an undergrad business education and product design experience. I’m a recent grad and am starting my first job as a federal consultant in a couple months. Can anybody recommend some good books to read that relate to federal consulting? Or consulting in general?
I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. I'm 31 and found this only because b school and post mba consulting job was/is much more challenging than anything I did before. What I'm confused about is that even as a teenager I could read entire books overnight. But the last two years of high school I started selectively zoning out and the problem has become worse since. I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)
Hello everyone, I am CA looking to start a fresh innings in Management Consulting role at a Business Consulting Firm as a fresher. Can you please suggest me some good books to read on management consulting to begin with? It will be of great help
I'm looking to pivot from consulting into tech. I've gotten lots of interesting from tech companies on the ops side but am much more interested in product management. Any advice on books or courses to help make the transition? I'm struggling to land PM interviews at companies that aren't tiny startups :(

What is the salary range for a Senior Associate in PwC’s valuation practice? Does it range by group (financial modeling v. Core valuation)?
What salary can you expect for fed consulting coming out of an MBA program like Georgetown? I know commercial is ~145k base but have no data points on fed salaries.
I interviewed for a job I really, really, really, really want today… Send me some good vibes please! 😬
I’m on the most demanding project of my consulting 5 years in consulting right now and 8 months pregnant: 3 weeks left on the hellish project. Send me good juju or inspirational quotes or whatever plz
Is there an airport with a greater %age of consultants than DCA on Thursday evenings? I don't think I would be allowed in without a suit at this time!
It’s so hard seeing so many people make so much more money by switching to new firms. I’m making a strategic move that will probably command more comp in 3-5 years than I would have made if I hadn’t made the jump but my salary bump (25%) isn’t nearly what everyone else is getting right now because I’m basically starting over in a new area. I have serious FOMO. I *think* I did the right thing but now I’m all caught up in comparing myself! Could use some words of encouragement or advice, y’all…
Have an offer in industry. It’s a relatively new company that is growing fast and lots of opportunity to move up quickly and make a difference. Salary increase wouldn’t be large but enough to make a difference. My heart wants to do it but there is risk involved - not as much stability as the Big 4 company I work for and I’m supporting a family. What do I do? Follow my passion or stay in the safe zone given things are still up in the air with Covid? I appreciate your opinion fishes!
I received an offer from Big 4 for an SC3 role. The offer states that I will be eligible for a salary adjustment in Oct 2022. What does this mean? Is that when annual raises occur, or will they review my performance and determine if I should be promoted to manager? I have enough YOE for a manager, but the team recommends that I come in as SC3 to learn how things are done since I have no prior consulting experience.
Market variances on salary/billing are so dumb. The same work is being done in the Midwest, South, etc. as NYC. Why should the client pay more because of where the lawyer chooses to live?

Informed today that, unless we win some new business in the next 90 days, I’ll be laid off. Thoughts on when I should start to make alternative plans? (Con’t)
Guys, having 5 years of experience and I have 2 offers from Wipro and infoays . I have heard that Infosys is better than wipro in terms of work life balance and work culture. I wants to join Infosys but the thing is wipro is paying more than Infosys. Please help me to decide. I am confused 🤔

My room this year is really warm, what’s the best classroom fan that can cool an entire class?
I’m considering applying for remote legal admin positions in addition to my current role (also remote, with flexible schedule). Do we foresee any issues with working two remote jobs, assuming no conflicts? How could I go about talking about my current role, if asked? It would be nice to have an extra income source, and since I work from home, I don’t see the time being an issue.
I’m hiring for a Branded Content Supervisor at my agency in LA (South Bay). Super fun team with a lot of career growth potential. If you know of anyone or you yourself are interested, please DM me!
Could someone at Deloitte please share if you can still say remote or are required to go to office? Or any guidance from leadership.
Hello fellow MBB fish! I had a question I am hoping to get insights on. I accepted an offer from McKinsey in NYC and was supposed to start in March, which I now pushed to May.
