Chief of staff can mean anything from secretary to go too problem fixer for everything, the latter obviously being much more interesting. Make sure you do your research on the company and get a true feel for what day to day will be like.
It can be great, but like others have said, you need to make sure you know exactly what you’re getting into. The CEO needs to have a dedicated EA and they should know where in the company they want to move you after a couple years.
IME a CoS means “chief enforcer” of the boss’s will. Similar to being the XO under the CO in a military hierarchy, if any of you happen to have any idea about what that is like.
Lol same here
Where is this role located

What does a chief of staff do?
You're basically the right-hand man of the CEO/COO/CFO or some other executive. A little similar to consulting in that you're constantly shifting and taking on various projects. It's not a long-term role, so as mentioned, you need to understand what their plan is once you've been in it for a bit. Ideally, you'd end up in a VP or Director role after.
