I will be relocating out of state from NY to FL in December. My current role does not allow flexibility to work remote and our offices in FL have no tech roles for transfer. I have 5+ YOE as a product owner in M&E and looking to break into the Digital space as a PM. I’ve been applying and interviewing with no luck and multiple rejection as it seems hiring has slowed down. Anyone know of companies hiring? I would love to connect.

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway. Any advice on what you might do in my position? Am I being crazy with this idea?

I’m planning to leave my job at the end of June, should I warn my boss now so she can start hiring? I don’t want her to be blindsided by my decision and hiring is very slow at the moment. Plus if they hire someone I can train the transition will be easier? But I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot if they were thinking or giving me a pay rise or promoting me?

And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? And even then, they might not be sure whether it should be an in-text citation or a footnote…
