Any thoughts on which parts of Sales Ops should be in Sales and which in Finance? Is there a good way to differentiate between the 2 groups?

Hey guys,
I am planning to startup. Planning to go very big.
The fundamental reason for any business to start is to earn profits if it's not a non-profit org. But, what if the business is owned by the consumers itself. And consumers become shareholders of the business.
1) People fund the business
2) People buy products from it
3) People share profits if there are some.
Goal of such business:
1) Not for profits
2) Increase employment in country
3) Make in India boost

I think I’m more of a creative, conceptualizer, thinker than a writer, and my fortes are unconventional ideas and executions. Yes, I can write but that isn’t the main reason they hired me for.

Are there any copywriters who think like me?

Contemplating putting a pause on my career to refocus once my husband gets a job. We aren’t rolling in cash but I just need a break for the moment to recharge. Has anyone else done this? I just don’t know if it’s a good idea right now. We don’t have any children so it’s not like we have a family to provide for, but losing out on extra income will be tough.

Has anyone in this bowl bought a Glasshutte Original Panoreserve? The Lange 1 is out of my price range ( I am thinking of spending around 10k) however I love the design and felt the pano might be a suitable replacement to add to my collection. Currently I have a 36mm DJ blue face fluted bezel on jubilee. Any inputs appreciated.

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

Not sure if this is the right Bowl or not, but.. I was trying to do some research into the best and worst parts of working in a finance team (and focusing more on the smaller teams in smaller orgs), whether on the FP&A side, or financial management/reporting side, or wherever. What are the best bits of the job? What are the bits that make your role painful/hard work/dull? What are you really looking for when looking for the next role? Glad this community is anonymous btw!

Are you executing a strategy that will take you further ? Do you have a clear path to develop yourself/your team /your company/your family

I’ve 4 years of Corp finance experience and 6 years as a data consultant for a PE firm. How much in TC should I expect, working for a midsize tech company, tier 2 city. I also have an MBA from a top school. Thanks!

An opportunity has risen that I will be getting a promotion from Manager to Director. I am a senior employee and historically have gotten anywhere from 5.5% - 10% raises in the past. What would be an appropriate promotion to director percentage raise? I am happy where I work and don’t want to go anywhere, but also want to be respected in a role with more responsibilities.
