Hi everyone! Does anyone in here work for Omada Health ? I have an interview next Wednesday for a PT Member Support Agent role and am unclear on what the pay could be. Glassdoor has the pay estimate at 42k-48k, but I found a comment where someone in the same role mentioned only getting paid $12/hr. I have 8 years of experience as a CSR but I’ve had a couple year gap in between now and my last job. TIA Any advice helps .

A designer’s portfolio usually is focused on showing the design and the process of design. An art director’s portfolio is all about the concept and shows the final product. Have looked at any art director’s portfolios or asked to see any?
I really do appreciate the honest feedback. Thank you!!

Show more process - the objective, the concept, your approach in crafting it. I find a designers portfolio only showcases the visual end result, and nothing on how they got to it.
Oh that’s a good tip too! Thank you. I appreciate the feedback
Make a new section in your portfolio called “Art Direction.” The other stuff will be in a section called “Design.”
Throw all your branding, interfaces, logos, apps, web pages and nice-looking stuff in the Design section.
In the Art Direction section, put only campaigns that you worked on with a copywriter. They should have strong ideas that you and your partner concepted together. The impressive thing about these campaigns should be the ideas, not necessarily how nicely the visuals were crafted. You can tell if the campaign ideas are good by whether they make someone chuckle, or say “ohhh!” or do an approving head nod.
Thank you! This makes sense. I’m excited to redesign my site. Appreciate the feedback!
Try to get in to an ad agency as a designer, once your in start asking for creative briefs and volunteer to work on the stuff nobody wants to work on
Ohh that is a good strategy especially with the contract roles I’m seeing. Thank you!

Idk where you are at but look into The Book Shop! It’s in LA. It’s about a 2 yr program but it’s only 1-2 nights a week after work hours. It’s a fraction of accredited portfolio at schools and helps you learn the conceptual side of things. Worked for me. That was my ticket to making the jump. I was a designer for 5 years. There def is a difference between a designer AD and an advertising AD. If you want to be an traditional advertising AD, there’s a 360 conceptual skill set you have to have and be able to communicate and present in your book for anyone to see you as an AD.
Also be prepared for a likely lifestyle shift. I have no life now as an AD in the traditional advertising space. I do double the work now. I art direct and design everything I do. I’m actually thinking of going back to being a designer purely for work-life balance reasons. The money is a lot better though now. Just want you to know how drastically your life could shift. Depends on the agency as well too, but you will definitely be working more hours. I’m at like 50hrs min a week but could be as high as 80hrs a week.
Good luck on your journey!
