Depends on market, what level you’re interviewing for, and if it’s virtual.
If virtual then just high level tech concepts and general data concepts.
If in person then they would do whiteboarding for code and architecture.

I wouldn’t worry too much, our tech interviews are a joke:

If it’s for a BI role just show that you can or have built dashboards. Depending on the interviewer, you might not even have to showcase anything.
For a data engineering role just show you can do some sql joins. Also talk about what public cloud offering you would use to house some data. Knowledge about databricks and delta tables are a plus (again, talk about when or when not to use them).
Architect role is white boarding end to end. As long as you don’t make any glaring mistakes, you’ll be fine.

Why do recruiters never tell you which agency they want to talk to you about until they get you on the phone? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time and it would be helpful to know this info from the initial outreach. My experience with this only applies to healthcare, but would imagine it’s the same in consumer as well. Anyone?

Hello,

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

My AD coworker (not currently my partner) just got hired at a new agency and wants to bring me along as his writer. I'd love to join. He told the recruiter at that agency about me and sent my book. I also have another former coworker (creative) who put in a good word for me.

Should I reach out to the recruiter, too? Or is that overkill after two recos? I don't want to be bothersome. But I do want to show interest..

This all happened on Friday, if that matters. Thanks!

Coming to the realization that consulting is not for me (tech person) feeling angry that salaries at D will never be on pair with FANG and that leadership is not tech focused. For example you could be a soul contributor at fang making 240k and people at Deloitte wait 10+ years to earn that as Senior Managers because they need to climb the corporate ladder. It seems super clear cut to me now, if you want to make money in tech don’t join consulting firms. Am I wrong?
