Any tips to help with communication and time management. Got a MW who’s in a rush to senior but is struggling with both. Not taking onboard any suggestions we make, agrees but then doesn’t act. A pep talk will get him performing for a week or two but slips back. Really talented but gets stuck and needs a lot of direction to get moving. He’ll panic in silence instead of raising his hand even though it’s always ok to ask for help. Would just prefer it not to be late evening before a deadline!

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.
