Called up HR after one day of interview, she said she is awaiting to hear from the concerned team

Just got a job offer but they are only giving me until Monday afternoon to decide. I'm currently in process at several other firms and the recruiter said they can't/won't give extensions. How bad is it for me to accept and then decline if I get another offer? The other companies would be paying 15-30k more and I feel like that's way too much to give up especially right out of school. Do you enjoy working at Protiviti more than PwC? How is work/life and travel requirements? Reinvest stuf requird?

I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting? I have other offers and can't keep waiting for these foot draggers.

Incoming AC at Bain, previously was deciding between Bain and McKinsey. But, ultimately chose Bain for the culture despite McKinsey being aligned with my professional goals of working in the government. I was looking on LinkedIn and didn’t find many people who are working in the White House after Bain, but found countless examples for McKinsey. Would it be difficult to try to transition to working in government after a few years at Bain? Any thoughts?

I have passed the screening for BCG and McK, and will perform Casey and Imbellus respectively this weekend. Applied with 8 YOE in petrochemical industry. My question is about case interview preparation, I have been mainly practicing candidate-led style so far and don't have much info about interviewer-led approach that McK utilizes. Considering short time-frame to prepare, which strategy should I follow? Are these styles very different?

Do you hear anything after a Bain sova assessment in any case?

Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well

Have full-time post-MBA offers from Bain big MCOL City and McKinsey small-ish M/HCOL city. McKinsey city is close to home and where I want to live long term, but I have really vibed with the Bain people.

Made the pivot from Big 4 to Bain and frankly underwhelmed. Seems like Bains Ops capabilities / general knowledge resources / white papers are lagging the industry quite a bit. Miles behind BCG / McKinsey as well. Literally only good for PE and nothing else.

Are MBB sponsored MBA students expected to return to their home firms for the summer between their two years? I know you're obligated to go back post-MBA, but what about the summer in between?
