I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

I got an offer from BNY Mellon for 28 LPA for Senior Associate 1 position as a Backend Developer. Is BNY a good company considering I am already working as a Full Stack Dev in Deloitte ? Please help and also plz add some points related to benefits, work life balance, quality of work, etc.

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. I’ve recently started work at a very young tech startup. Coming from a big law background, this was a huge change of pace/environment. I’m having a lot of trouble getting used to how unstructured the startup is. It feels like hire ups give a set of instructions then talk as if they don’t remember, or then decided rules A, B, C and D applies without being clear this was the case. Is this just the general startup environment? If you experienced this before, how did you deal with It?

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles.
