Anyone know about Vista Outdoor?
I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

Lol hell no would I move for that large a pay cut. Any benefit is discretionary, negotiate they match your salary.
You should negotiate. But here is high level benefit summary.
- 0 health premiums. Microsoft pays 100%, plus you get a HSA matching. Family or single, you’ll never finish your hsa deductible before insurance takes 100% (include med, vision, dental etc)
- 50% 401K matching (up to max)
- After tax contribution allowance
- 800 stay fit
- 15days PTO, 14days Sick, 2 days free = 31 working days + holidays
- No timesheet ever! Nothing to record
- The basics like daycare, library etc.
- Free Subscriptions to MS Products including Xbox Game Pass
Good luck

No way unless there is a stock grant is target bonus that will exceed your current comp

He did mention RSUs and bonus but no details about the amount offered. Not even sure I want to go through with the interviews anymore since they want me to take a day off from work and do 4 one hour interviews in one day.
That sounds exactly like something a recruiter would say. Unless the benefits include serious equity or a guaranteed annual cash bonus...that’s ludicrous.
I’d honestly ask the recruiter to enumerate which benefits would make up the difference. I really hope “access to an industry-leading 401k” isn’t among them. 😬
@OP how many years of experience do you have? What level would you be at Microsoft? PM me if you want the Microsoft compensation spreadsheet.
Nope

@OP is that range the base range or total comp range? Recruiters generally only share the base range in my experience.
Microsoft benefits would be:
- 50% 401K Matching, No Vesting Period
- 10% ESPP (Essentially $1500 cash per year).

Okay cool. That sounds a lot better
How did you get the interview!? Have been applying to Microsoft roles for months (with employee referrals) and no luck!

I just submitted an application on their website and had a recruiter contact me about 2 weeks later.
