Hello! I’ve been in Compliance now Dow approx 6 years and want to make myself marketable. Besides a JD what other masters can I obtain?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

Any recommendations on schools that offer PhD studies as part time while one still works full-time? What's the tuition fee and years of study?

Top Corp Dev teams: Trying to find the “top” (using this as short hand, I know it’s subjective) PE shops had a bunch of resources to use. However, there are no such resources (please share if I’m wrong!) for “top” Corp dev teams. “Top” is probably some mix of caliber of people, comp, ~prestige~, etc. let’s hear y’all’s top Corp dev teams!

I’m on the consulting side (FDD) and I’m curious if there are PE firms with good WLB. I’m happy with my pay, growth, and hours. PE interests me but I don’t understand why anyone would want to consistently work 65+ hours a week every week. What’s the appeal? Making double the pay? What’s the exit plan?
