Anyone a prospective, current, or Alumnus of Michigan Ross Online MBA? How is your experience and have you leveraged it for a career switch or internal move up?

I am new recruiter with about 2 yrs experience within people practice ( learning & development - Employability support - and now recruiting)

I am keen to transition to FAANG/UK but not sure if I should continue in people’s business! Or should I try RPM/APM opportunities as I am currently leading full cycle work with cross functional teams I feel that might be nice thing to take a look at.

Is there other promising career paths I can transition to within tech?

Had been working as a BA/PM role at a financial firm for 3.5 years and decided to leave corporate to join my family’s small business with the mentality I’d take things over. It’s been a little over a year and I’ve come to the realization that it’s not for me. Im looking to transition myself back to IT/Tech, but am feeling apprehensive in getting the attention of recruiters with the industry switch. Any advice from anyone that’s been in a similar situation?

Trying to figure out if I should start as an inbound SDR, or try jumping straight into an AE role in SaaS.

I left mortgages at the beginning of the year to start a franchise business, it's now semi-self-sufficient so wanted to start a career again and I live in the Silicon Slopes area. Everyone I know is in SaaS or software engineering.

Just wondering if I should push my resume as far as possible and try to snag an AE role or take my time in a new industry and start from the bottom.

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at my firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything.
