Hi folks, I am currently working in a product based Tata organisation. However, I want to switch to service based work and have been selected at Tech Mahindra as a Business consultant at U4 level. They are giving me 35% hike on my current salary. Not sure if this would be the right deal! Can someone throw some light on the consultancy wing of TechM and the work culture in here?!

I’ve never been able to secure a position by a connection so am reaching out for assistance. I recently joined a company which is just not a positive culture. I’ve long disliked the term ethics. Definitions of ethics all refer to morals. Morals are very personal and vary a lot from person to person, culture to culture. Law is how we as a society express our preferences and impose rules and restrictions on ourselves. So the question should never be about whether companies can be ethical. What does that mean? One person thinks eating meat is unethical, another thinks it’s perfectly ethical. Companies should focus on complying with the law.

I’m currently a Grade 11 at Cisco. With the recent pay structure changes my annual comp will be $150k + 12% bonus. I live in a large metro area in the middle of the US. I’m looking to move around the company so that I can make commission but I don’t want to be an account manager.
