The international retreats are a lot more reasonable and include meals and lodging - done a few in England, Italy, India etc. I would try using this site to look them up https://www.bookyogaretreats.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwgLOiBhC7ARIsAIeetVDLwMlty5pfi-lXe6zSamv3VyeQZC1W4a6R7Ey6Suw68Fi2j3IBgnIaAqbkEALw_wcB
nice kinda surprising England/Italy got it more reasonably priced than here lol but guess still a significant income gap vs US
If you have the money and life feels hard, then it would be nice to have that retreat.
Usually the itinerary will include lodging (ty to ask again) because it's a jam-packed experience.
This kind of retreat will have a few periods/sessions, just ask for their schedule and one might suit you.
I personally enjoy day spas rather than the whole weekend. Check out local day spas and see if any have upcoming events in addition to the amenities. I find it less expensive, and I'm completely relaxed and disconnected by the end of the day. Which means I can do them periodically throughout the year rather than once a year on vacation. I try to go 4x a year.
cool never tried it, what activities u do there?
I’ve done it once before when there was a promotion running. Genuinely such a nice and relaxing time and I loved it but it is $$$. Probably not worth it if money would be tight but if you can afford it then it’s a really nice experience
It’s not like it’s life changing. But I found it to be a very nice getaway when life felt overwhelming at the time. It was like being able to live in a ‘bubble’ for a few days where all you got to do was embrace some nature, get fed healthy foods, focus on wellness and get some spa treatments. So its a great “reset” type thing. It’s def a luxury (you can prob replicate some kind of experience like it for less) but again if $$ isn’t the issue, it’s very relaxing

Haven’t been to one, but I did advertising for one. There’s a wide range of them, but some of them really are worth it.
My tip is to read the reviews and testimonials on Google, social media, Yelp, their websites, etc and you’ll get a good picture of how people felt about it.
Most retreats give you lodging, and a price of $700-$1k a day, it should be 5 star hotel level.
If you want, you can message me the name of the retreat and I can tell you if I’ve heard of them and what I know about them.
