Have you tried a standing desk? Or something as simple a a footrest may do the trick. At my office I feel free enough to lay down and stretch/do yoga if needed.

I tweaked my back playing drums and sitting at a desk was painful. I found some basic stretch & strengthen moves from the Mayo Clinic that really helped after doing daily for two weeks. First thing though, buy a heating pad. It’ll help.
As I move from comfy office chair to crappy chairs at home, I find sitting on a small pillow is helping. Puts my legs at a slightly different angle and taking some of the back pressure off. Also am trying to take breaks to lay on my foam roller to stretch the muscles out when I can. Good luck!
