With a shift in Corporate direction, our comp/bonus/incentive plan had historically been based on overall opportunity booking values. The Corporate shift is to drive more ARR and client migration sales (from legacy products, looking for modernization). With that, the booking values for these are significantly lower than net new deals. What did your transition from AE to editor look like?

5 months ago I joined an advertising post house as a full-time AE. Through the support of a lead editor at the company I found my way into making cuts for the company’s most prestigious client. At this point, I’ve been the sole editor of one global campaign and a co-editor of another, in addition to cutting many social media videos. It’s only 5 months but I can’t help feel that my title doesn’t reflect the work I actually do.
